Second birthday savings

Out of the Ordinary Outback is celebrating the two-year anniversary of the opening of Broken Hill Outback Resort by offering a 10 per cent saving on all weekend stays this spring at the resort and three outback sister properties also owned by NSW outback tourism company, Out of the Ordinary Outback.

Using the 10 per cent saving, weekend rates (Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights) are now available from $158 per cabin per night at Broken Hill Outback Resort, $117 per cabin per night at the Warrawong on the Darling holiday park at Wilcannia, $89 per room per night at Copper City Motel/Hotel in Cobar and $161 per room per night (inc breakfast) at the famous White Cliffs Underground Motel – Australia’s largest underground accommodation. (These rates include the 10 per cent discount).

The 10 per saving is available for weekend stays until December 31, 2020, excluding school holidays.

So you’re looking to hit the road for the September School Holidays.

The Out of the Ordinary Outback group offer accommodation from Cobar, Wilcannia, Ivanhoe, White Cliffs and Broken Hill.   Each property offers comfort from Motel style accommodation, cabins and camping. You can rent a swag at the Resort to experience something a little out of the ordinary. 

Stay at the Broken Hill Outback Resort and enjoy camel rides on Wednesday and Sunday. Book in early to avoid missing out on our  accommodation. We also offer  food and beverage on site from the Mt Gipps Hotel, a historical hotel built in the late 1800’s and turned into a new bar and restaurant. Reception at the Resort can offer you directions on things to see and do while visiting such as Outback Astronomy, visiting Silverton, a 1950’s style milkshake at Bells Mill Bar or a drink and a view from the Palace Hotel where Priscilla was filmed.  Mention you’re staying 3 nights and you’ll receive a pass on arrival.
