Stage 2 Works to Carry Out at the Copper City Hotel in Cobar
The next stage of works at the Copper City Hotel in Cobar will see the closure of the bar and bistro facilities at the property on November 11, 2019
Outback NSW tourism business, Out of the Ordinary Outback, which owns the Copper City Hotel and Motel, said the 30-room motel would remain open for accommodation but the bar and restaurant spaces would close for a scheduled reopening in 2020.
Out of the Ordinary Outback owner, Scott Smith, said the hotel would undergo a new stage of works and renovations and a new strategy for the property would be drafted to create a dynamic, new-look social hub for Cobar and the region.
“We’re excited about the future for the Copper City Hotel, Mr Smith said. “Menus and new facilities that will be unveiled in 2020 will ensure the hotel remains an affordable venue where locals in Cobar can come together to relax, drink, dine and enjoy parties and other functions. We’re committed to the tourism and hospitality industry in Cobar and look forward to working with the local community to grow the appeal of not only the hotel but the appeal of Cobar as a place to live in and visit.”
Mr Smith said a Happy Hour specials be offered at Copper City Hotel all day this weekend, November 9 and 10.
