Hospitality Management Team

The Out of the Ordinary Outback group is looking for people who are enthusiastic about hospitality and guest services. There is a high demand for high-quality staff in a variety of roles within this expanding group for the right candidate.

We have management positions based on the demand for quality operators’ for our resorts, RV parks, hotels, and motels ranging from management to chefs, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and all-rounders.

Purpose of the Role

  • Working as part of an energetic and enthusiastic outback hospitality group
  • Thinking on your feet to problem solve with a customer focus
  • Create memorable experiences for all guest
  • Computer and  some tech knowledge for cloud-based systems such as booking systems i.e. RMS or similar
  • Sound knowledge and experience in bar service
  • Good operational knowledge of front and back operations
  • As part of a team maintain a clean and safe environment, clearing glasses and plates and adhering to food handling and hygiene requirements

To be successful, you will need to be comfortable working in a high volume and fast-paced environment and have a desire to deliver excellent customer service, attention to detail and a high level of personal presentation and communication. Knowledge and experience in food safety and hygiene is a must, as is RSA & RCG certification.

To succeed in this role

  • Previous experience within a face-to-face customer service role is desirable
  • A genuine passion to make people feel great and the ability to build great relationships
  • Confidence to work independently, understand the customer needs and think on your feet
  • Display a can-do attitude
  • A high standard of presentation and exceptional communication skills
  • Flexibility and availability across the operating hours including weekends, public holidays and split shifts
  • Current RSA and RCG certificates
  • Financial budgets and reporting
  • Upholding operational policies and procedures

Backpackers Wanted
We’re on the hunt for backpackers seeking an Outback NSW experience. Get paid to do what you love, all while working with travellers and guests at this great NSW Holiday Park Oasis in the NSW Outback.
This role is for a full-time all-rounder position of 48 hours per week.
Looking for one or two backpacker(s) to help the smooth running of a NSW caravan park with 40 powered sites and 21 cabins.
Sign off on a third working year visa.
$1000 per week and accommodation included.
– reception work
– feeding the animals
– housekeeping
– general operations
– This work counts towards 88 days farming visa

Relief Managers

Multi-Property Relief Management Couple. 

Out of the Ordinary Outback group based in Broken Hill are looking for a dynamic active couple to provide hospitality management services for the group.

The Out of the Ordinary Outback group have 7 properties in the far west of Outback NSW from Hotels, Caravan Parks and Motels and we require an experienced couple to move between these NSW Outback properties filling in where required in all aspects of hospitality.

The candidates must be able to run all aspects of food and beverage including cooking if required front office housekeeping anything that is needed to run a venue. The group has Motels Hotels and Caravan parks in NSW.

The right couple may have already owned their own business and understand what it takes to deliver a quality hospitality experience. 

The couple will be based in Broken Hill and move between the venues; NSW Outback accommodation can be provided in Broken Hill as part of the package and a car allowance will be paid as a reliable car is essential for this role.
